Spring Newsletter 2016

Hey ya,Happy spring everybody. Here's the latest...

This Friday I'm playing The Postcrypt at Columbia University.  This is an all acoustic venue in the basement of St. Paul's Chapel. I will be playing in a round with Bob Hillman and Tim Robinson...my old cohorts from the days of Jack Hardy's legendary songwriters group in the West Village. Jack would host a workshop at his apartment every Monday night where people would bring a bottle of wine and try out a new song.  Everyone there was a critic and I usually got my ass handed to me, but it was fantastic and I loved it! I got to meet and listen to so many extraordinary writers like Suzanne Vega and Shawn Colvin who would drop in from time to time. It will be good fun to reunite with Tim and Bob.

Next month I've been invited to participate in a TEDx talk in Herndon, VA.  The platform is "Ideas Worth Spreading". There will be a bunch of great speakers that weekend including Nobel Laureate John Mather. I'm going to talk about my songs and then sing them :)

Lastly, I have a few shows and festivals in May with Steve Kimock and Friends ft. Jeff Chimenti, Lebo, Bobby Vega and Jay Lane. I love this band and I'm pretty sure there will be some special surprise guests who will pop in. Check out the latest issue of Relix Magazine this month...nice article on Steve in there. I might have been mentioned.

Thank you all for coming out and always showing your love, support, and for bringing the party (even when you're quiet and listening)!!! <3
